San Diego Blood Bank
Established in 1950, the San Diego Blood Bank is a non-profit organization serving hospitals in San Diego, Imperial, Los Angeles, and Orange Counties. Each year, 120,000 units of blood are provided to help patients of all ages, socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds who are struggling with life-threatening medical conditions including cancer, blood disorders, severe burns, organ transplants, emergency surgery, trauma, childbirth complications, and more.
